My Company : Thornaes-FMC


Thornaes-FMC is a fashion marketing consultant company who helps its clients to expand where they want. Its clients are top-middle brands and new designers. The job consists essentially to find agents/distributors where its clients want to be placed in, marketing their brand to buyers in the territories where the clients want to expand thanks to the CRM system with a personalized press release and consulting the clients regarding varied issues (business plan, advices about the production, how the business works...)

  • Build up my professional network portfolio by updating and adding new contacts in (agent/distributor and buyer list) on Excel.

  • Importation of the database inside the CRM System

  • Promotion our services to potential clients (top brands, middle brands, high street brands or even new designers).

  • Attend fashion exhibitions to promote us directly to the brands. I speak to the person in charge and give her/him our business card. Several days later if the brands did not contact us, I can e-mail or call them to remind her/him about our meeting and our services

  • Send e-mails to brands who use worldwide fashion exhibitions websites. I find a huge list of potential clients. I send them a marketing presentation of our services.

  • When the potential clients contact me to look for an agent/distributor, I check our portfolio and send to them some information about our clients to have a preliminary interest if he/she takes the brand for the season (Autumn/Winter or Spring/Summer).

  • Once I know what the clients want (which countries they want to be place), I send them a proposal and a contract after they agree to our.

  • After the clients sign our contract and pay our invoice, the marketing campaign has to be prepared. Usually we begin the campaign 1-2 months before the sales season begins. The clients give us all the information we need concerning their brands (brief description of the collection, high resolution pictures, links related to them, etc.) and I create a press release to promote the brand among our buyer list.

  • When the press release is done, it is ready to be sent to our buyer list through the CRM System where it will go out as an individualised press release with mail-merge addressed to specific buyers by name and company.
