I have noticed some customs that british have are since I am in London.
Firstly ,they love to get a tan in the park. Like a sea is far, they don't hesitate to put their swimsuit and trunks when the sun makes an appearance. They go to the park with their children, bring a picnic and spend their day in the park. In London, there are a lot of beautiful park like Hyde Park. British people take an advantage this.
They love to take a beer after work. Instead of going at home directly, they meet their friends between 5 an 7 PM in a pub. This is their way to relax after a long working day.
Every friday, like in America they celebrate the last working day "Thanks God it's Friday!". A lot of young british disguise and make a big party. We can see them in the streets in London, enjoy their last day. It is really funny.
When you need some help, they don't hesistate to help you. For exemple, my first day I had a lot of luggages, very heavy!!. And some british persons bring my luggage in the underground for every step.
It was pleasant, because I was not able to achieve alone.
I think, british people are more open-minded thant french people, they tolerate a lot of things contrary in France and they rarely judge you.
British people respect their pets. I find it is very stunning like British people love animals. I have never seen cats or dogs, pressed and dead on the street in London. The cats and the dogs are never alone in the streets, they are always with their masters. Every morning, I cross a park and I can see a lot of master who walk their dogs and pick its business.
British people love cleanliness. Contrary to Paris, the streets and the underground are not dirty. We can always see clearners take care of the city.
British people loves security. I think I have never seen as many police cars as there. It is impressive, everytime, everywhere, we can can hear the alarm. They are Policemen in the shopping centre, in the stations, in the town.
One time, I assisted to a fights after party. Two girls scraped, that's why my friend decided to call the police in order to stop this brawl. IN ONLY 2 MINUTES THEY ARRIVED!! it was really efficient. In Franc, you are the time to die on the street. I was chocked because they were very fast!
